KJ grew up in Kansas City, “but my daddy’s an Okie” so she attended many family functions there. She’s fronted Blues and County bands for 15 years in KC. For the past 15 years she has focused on her corporate life, but after meeting fellow band mate Steve Tellez in 2019, she was reminded that “The Music Matters”! Tellez & Jones began a duet then, & Dry Creek Station followed soon after.
As the lone female in Dry Creek Station, KJ’s fiery personality has earned her the title “Security” !
